Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald A series so well cast and so skilfully written that it's hard to imagine that the American ABC network cancelled it after this single season. May 23, 2019 Full Review Johanna Schneller Toronto Star A supernatural story that's mercifully free of superheroes. An environmental and humanist warning. Evil aliens among us. Small-town cops vs. the FBI. It's all deliciously promising. Which is too bad, given that it stars Steve Zahn. Apr 2, 2018 Full Review Marta Fernandez El Pais (Spain) The Crossing succumbs to all cliches. [Full Review in Spanish] Jun 29, 2018 Full Review Shamus Kelley Den of Geek As it is The Crossing pilot is pretty boring. Not even the big mystery it spends so much time on is compelling enough to keep you watching. Winner of the Peabody Award for Excellence in 2000.

Is Atlantic Crossing a True Story? According to Alexander Eik, Atlantic Crossing's creator, director, and co-writer, “what 'inspired by true events' really means is some of this actually happened, some of it could likely have happened, and the rest of it is made up.”
